Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC in short) is jointly funded by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Beijing State-owned Capital Operation and Administration Center, Aviation Industry Corporation of China Co., Ltd. and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd. It has 27 directly affiliated units, 3 main boards and 2 listed companies on the Science and Technology Innovation Board. There are more than 72,000 employees. It boasts a large number of top-quality and innovative scientific and technological talents, including more than 200 national level experts and scholars. It has strong scientific research and production capacity, as well as a relatively complete R&D and manufacturing system and test and testing capabilities for military and civil aviation engines and gas turbines.
AECC is mainly engaged in the research and development, production, maintenance and service of Aero-Engines, auxiliary power, gas turbines, and transmission systems for aircraft and helicopters, as well as the development and manufacture of aeronautical materials and other advanced materials. Turbojet, turbofan, turboshaft, turboprop, piston engine, gas turbine and other products designed and manufactured by AECC have been widely used in all kinds of military and civil aircraft, helicopters, large ships, small and medium-sized generator sets.
