The AES100 engine is a civil turboshaft engine with internationally advanced performance independently innovated and developed in China. The engine has a takeoff power of 1000kW and a fuel consumption rate of 0.276kg/(kW•h). It is suitable for equipping multi-purpose helicopters for tourism, patrol, police, and rescue, and can be fitted on 5-6 ton class twin-engine helicopters and 3-4 ton class single-engine helicopters. It offers good safety, economy, reliability, and maintainability.
