The AEP500 engine is China's first completely independently developed advanced civil turboprop engine in the 5000 kW class. Developed according to civil aircraft requirements, it primarily meets the powerplant needs of medium passenger/cargo turboprop aircraft and large amphibious aircraft, featuring low fuel consumption, low emissions, long life, and high reliability.
